What is this... "webkinz" you speak of? What Mantis posted... But they have code (or something to identify it with) that you put into the computer and you can add them to your house, buy food, whatever. Basically it's the Sims, but you have to buy the sims. XD

Like NeoPets and Webkins and that crap? Most of them are a cross between Flash and HTML.

Best thing I can think of is to use AnimGet or whatever it's called then string the images into a .gif.

^ .... That made me happy. I'll take a shot at Carl's and Evan's. By the way Carl, HTML doesn't work like that. You could however, split the big one in half horizontal from the middle and put them in this order: first long skinny signiture, top of big signiture, then make a break.. , and put the second long skinny sig and the bottom of the big one. That will work. You just have to make sure that both long skinny ones are exactly the same size or it might screw it up depending on the placement of it. OR You can drag all your sigs into Photoshop and make one giant picture for your sig.

Also, fonts are under C:\Windows\fonts. You can just drag your font files into there. -_- I thought you had to go through the installation process for it to be recognized...

HOW TO INSTALL FONTS. 1. Download your font. If you can't do this, you shouldn't be on the internet. 2. Click the big green square labeled "start" on the bottom left corner of your screen. It has a picture of a flag on it. 3. Now a menu has appeared. Slowly move your cursor up, and then right, until you are hovering over the picture of a check mark enclosed in white and blue. You will notice that it says "Control Panel" to the right of it. 4. Now that your mouse is hovering over it, you will notice that the area around it has turned a darker blue, and a big yellow box filled with words might come up. Click the left button on your mouse. 5. One of two possible things can happen now. A window will pop up. If it has a blue background and it says "Pick a category" in big letters on the top, continue going step by step through this document. If you get a window with a white background and lots of different pictures, skip to step 7. 6. Move your mouse to the big letters that say "Pick a category" on the top of the window. Now move your mouse left until it is over the words that say "Control Panel". Move your mouse down to where it says "Classic View". Click the left button on the mouse. You will now see a white background with lots of pictures. 7. Find the picture that looks like this: Now move your mouse over the picture of the two overlapping boxes on the top right corner of the screen. Click the left button on your mouse. 8. Find your font. Hover over it and click the left button on your mouse. Now click the left button on your mouse again, but this time, don't let go! Remember the other window we had open, with the picture I showed you? Move your mouse, still not letting go, until you are over the picture I showed you. Now let go of the button on your mouse. Congratulations! You have just installed a new font!

im trying to get finkheavy, in this one. i push save and save it to my personal file in My documents. from there i cant figure out how to get it into the control panel. somehow i have to go, Jimbo>My Documents>My Computer>Control Panel. Click that start button and the control panel is on the right side in the blue. If you get "Pick a Category" on top, click "Classic View" on the left in the light blue on the top. From there the "Fonts" folder shouldn't be hard to find. It's the folder with the green "A". Drag your font into that.

Yes, but after seeing it it made we want an old computer and that reminded of the conversation we had about Apples be the most fun old computers then I remembered that it would be a waste to go out and buy one when I can just emulate it! Only problem is that I need some sort of image of the OS that I can mount, otherwise I get a sad face. I liked your CPU tool... good info and better than Belarc for detailed motherboard info. I like the Belarc too because you get software and software keys. Just ran Belarc. It even recognized my image drives and virtual joysticks. O.o Niiiiiiice....

If you want your pc specs along with installed software (keys) etc go here: www.belarc.com/free_download.htmland click on "Download Belarc Advisor". Run the install and then run the utility. You'll get a nice .html page of your system specs, installed software, software keys etc. Quite useful. Nice. I dunno how detailed it is but CPU-Z shows your motherboard and CPU specs in alot of detail. I'll download this. DIRECT LINK TO CPU-Z DOWNLOAD: www.cpuid.com/download/cpu-z-139.zipOh yeah, My IBM with 16k of ram was MADE FOR CUSTOMIZING! PWNED! You made we want an old Apple. XD I think I'll try to find the OS disk later so I can emulate it.

pentium 4 processor. Dimension 5100 desktop. 2 USB ports. Just two? Check the back of the computer too. Most of them are usually there.

is there any way i can figure out what specs i have other than ripping open my comp, with minimal probability of putting it back together? Yeah. It's very likely that you can find most of it by just looking at the case. It should at least have the processor on it. Otherwise you need to go to My Computer, right click, properties. It should have some more information there. For even more go to the Hardware tab and click device manager for everything.

Alex is quite right. Alienwares are basically a fancy looking case with a well organised inside. But you can't blame them Alex, they're just not into computers like we are. Thank you. You are quite right. I do want the popularity. Are you happy now? No it's not. I would say that you started wrong, but I just don't care anymore. Sure. Risk what? What have I risked? Nooo..... I specifically said that I didn't "form" you into who you are. I did show you a "few neat things" but those few neat things branched off into most of the stuff we both know. The popularity one was a pretty hard kick in the nuts, but besides that now all I want to do is kill myself. I do not want popularity. I do not care. In fact, I do not know what I want.

Agg... you make me sick Jim. Our PC's are about the same, Austen just has a cooler looking case. Do you realize that all I have to do is buy one on eBay and my computer would be better? MADE for customizing? Jesus Christ all you do is yank out a drive and put a new one in. IT'S ALL THE SAME! How the hell else is an Aleinware made for customizing? I mean, they're good PCs and all, but there's no aside from the "Aleinware" stamped on the box and the cute little extras preinstalled on the drive (torrents people... you can get anything). You know what? I'm tired of this crap. I'm tired of arguing over who's computer is better, and I'm tired as hell for not getting any credit. You can say what you want but I know more about computers than anybody in here (except for SF . C++ my arse. "It's the language used to make some of your favorite video games." Duhuhuh! He's a GENIUS! So let's see that video game, Austen. (Now, don't get me wrong, Austen. This is nothing against you. It's against all the retards that make statements about things they don't have knowledge of) Let's compare our stats: Processor: Mine - 2.93 GHz Austen's - 3 GHz RAM: Mine - 512 MB (but I'm getting more. I have a 256 sitting on the table next to me but I can't use it until I get another) Austen's - 512 MB Graphics: Mine - 128 MB Austen's - 128 MB Disc Drives: Mine - 1X Litescribe DVD Rewriter, 1X DVD ROM Austen's - 1X DVD Rewriter Serial Ports: Mine - 7X USB, 2X 1394 Austen's - 8X USB, 1X 1394 Internal Storage: Mine - 1X 500 GB SATA, 1X 80 GB SATA Austen's - Not sure. I think it was something like 200 GB to 300 GB on one drive. Others: Mine - 1X 3 1/2 Floppy Drive, INTERNAL 9-in-1 card reader, Bluetooth adapter, TV tuner (which I don't get a sound input from but at least I get an input at all), crappy monitor and speakers Austen's - 1X 3 1/2 Floppy Drive, most likely nice speakers and monitor OK... so what's he got over me? .7 GHz on his processor?! ONE MORE USB?! And OMGZ!!! A FULL TOWER WHICH HE'S NOT EVEN USING! How about MY computer? I have a FREAKING LITESCRIBE. 580 GB of HD space. Internal card reader. God.... "not only is it MADE for customizing, they have the coolest chassis ever!" I WILL kill myself if you type that again. Now let's talk about my knowledge of computers. Now, someone please tell me how Austen is a "wiz" at computers by knowing what AdAware is? Let me tell you something about Austen. When we were ten, he got an email from me about playing video games on the computer. That's when it all started. The majority of what he knows came from me. Ask him. Go ahead. How did you learn about torrents? Who took you step by step in flashing your DS? I could go on all night. I didn't friggin form him into who is is or anything major like that but alot of what he knows is because of me. If you want to argue with that, you can just die.

Is your case a full tower...? I think we have the same motherboard. Or... they're very similar.
And Vista requires a 256 MB graphics card. Or actually I may be wrong. It think I read that it can reach 64-bits but of you have a 32-bit it'll work fine.

You don't have any 1394's? I really like Aleinware's cases by the way. Yours is really cool. Unfortunetly, I can't find a tower that's really cool looking and functional. There's this one at CompUSA that's just solid black with a giant vent on the front if there's no drives there. It also has a USB or two plus audio inputs on the top. Man that'd rock. I think I'm gonna buy it. I also want a new board, so that i can friggin swap out my graphics and sound card. I can't even run Vista (looks like we're in the same boat... though yours probably isn't embedded). I think that AGP is becoming obsolete because the new cards seem to be PCI express. Oh yeah, and I almost bought a working TV tuner the other day, but it didn't have a video AND audio input (composite), just video. I hate CPU's though... all the pins are different so you can't upgrade it without buying a new board. Oh, Austen, they have Core 2 Duo's... yeah... and Core 2 Extremes... but do you think that I could buy two Core 2 Extremes and be able to use them with a Core 2 duo board? That'd be awsome. They go up to almost 5 GHz as far as I've seen... EDIT: Since we're into pictures... Here's the hole in the wall I sit in every day. In case you're wondering, Wario World is burned on that disc on the left. The inside of my computer... And the front.
