In this thread, you may post how Gleasonator has helped you in your life, whether it's mental of social. I will start, I can post you information in the first post if you wish. You can also tell what you have learned about the individual members of Gleasonator Forums, I do not mind.
TOASTY4YOU
Gleasonator: Didn't know much about him before I came here, even if he was in my Science class last year. What I have learned is that he has a good sense of humor, and when he has an opinion, he stays strong with it and supports it with information in the past/present. I also found out that he loves Cream Soda.. mmmmmmmmm.. tasty..
MiniMcBeef: Strangely, I joined Gleasonator at about the same time I joined a soccer team that he was on. I found out that he loves Metroid, and likes beef a lot. Chatting on the forums seems pretty enjoyable when he is around.
OddOdd: If she never joined the forums, then I'd probably think of her as "another kid that I don't know". Fortunantly, she joined and got to know eachother more. Now, whenever she goes down the hallway, she goes "Hey <bleep>" (no, it's not a swearword, she calls me by my last name). No offense OddOdd, but I really didn't even know your name before you joined here, how embarrasing.
I will post more later, but I am slightly tired and wish to take a shower.

Gleasonator Forums is a place that I can go after school to talk about stuff. My favorite section is the SSB section, but sadly, not many users go there. Which is why I go to Nsider to fulfill my obsession with SSB. But aside from that it's an all around really great place. The best part is that it's small. I loves that.
What have I learned from users...? Hmmm... Thinking...
Ah, yes. The day I met the Gleasonator.
So there's this place called the Animal Crossing Community, see? And I saw a thread on the forums (forgot the title) and clicked on it with interest... To think... Just a click decided the whole thing, the future, my destiny! Well I visited his town and thought (cool). So I visited it more and more. And I envied his ability to hack the game, so I asked for lots o' stuff. XD
Well, one day, he invited me to the ORIGINAL Gleasonator Forums. (Yes, that's right, this is Gleasonator Forums 2). It wasn't all that great, but the next one was shweeeeet. So I invited Kerei, another one of my friends from ACC, and she invited users like Salty, and Alied. It was the birth of Gleasonator Forums.

Well, at first I didn't exactly want to post here, but I'll give it a shot. Gleasonator is where I go when I've gotten home from school, and I just don't feel like watching TV or doing some other useless activity. I've stopped coming here for my occasional MMORPG obsession, but I've always ended up coming back. There's no level grinding, no one begs for money, and there's always some new thread to post in. And in the past month or two, it's actually kept me from becoming some reclusive MMORPG freak. I don't feel any urge to start playing a game, and if I do, it's balanced by my need for Glea. When I first joined Gleasonator, I didn't post until several months later, when Alex was telling me to come back here and start posting. Eventually he convinced me to come back, and I met MotS. MotS: When I first saw your posts, I thought you were a stuck-up jerk. You were immediately convinced I was Alex when I started posting, and I thought you had this "I'm better than you" sort of personality. But after you realized I WASN'T a fake (XD), I realized you weren't stuck-up at all, and you were really a quality person. Mantis: You don't post too often, but when you do, it's always well thought out and makes perfect sense. Before Glea, I'd only talked to you a few times on MSN, and I really didn't know you too well. But now I know you much better, and Gleasonator's helped me with that. That's all I'm going to post for now, everyone else on Glea, you guys are awesome!

>_> Neither of you, Toasty, or Thorax are most active members. And what does it matter who gets on the most? To me, that's a sign of an obsession. And if you get on, post pointless stuff, and say you're the most active, isn't it a hollow victory? Now go argue in PMs so we don't have to read your useless off-topic nonsense.

So I invited Kerei, another one of my friends from ACC, and she invited users like Salty, and Alied. It was the birth of Gleasonator Forums. I miss Yoda. This is actually Gleasonator Forums 3. The second one was crap and I REALLY regret doing it. I emailed Yoda later but never got a reply. I also emailed Lumpy a few times and tried to get her to join but she never did (and she'd hate me anyways for the black people thread... *sigh* Sorry about that). Who else was there? One of the active posters... agg.. I remember her ACC name was Digidoom and her avatar was once the dog in Invader Zim. Dave posted there, too, but he seems to have lost interest in it. And is it just me or has Mantis gone on a vacation? I haven't seen him on the internet in weeks! Who else was there... well remember it was ACA before it was Gleasonator Forums. The members I remember were: Dave, Mantis, O-Suchin (Austin), whoever Digidoom was, Yoda, something that started with a "P" (his real name was Partick. I'm talking about his username) who just came to my forums to try to get ACWW stuff out of me, some person who only posted once asking about ACWW hacking, Megageek, and WitchFinder General (SF). Of course SF is what really made those boards fun, but Megageek's parents made him quit my boards because they thought SF was going to somehow molest/corrupt/whatever him, and when he heard about it he stopped posting like he used to. I don't think anybody on the original boards will ever forget: HEADS SHALL ROLL That's not to say he's no fun anymore, his posting "style" just changed, which is neither good nor bad. Do you remember how we met each-other over ACC, Austin? I remember that Kevin was my first ACWW friend, who I met in a trade. Dave was later, same thing though. I was going to sell him something that was cheap for what it was, but since I already told him I'd sell I did (and I'm glad, too). Zach was Kevin's friend (do any of you even know these people?) and Lumpy and Yoda were through other people. I don't remember Evan either. Let's see... what have my forums done for me. Well, they give me a place to go when I'm bored, they've taught me how to maintain a medium amount of people (imagine what the government has to go through), and they have given me somewhere to do something productive on the computer. I could go into great detail about the people, but let's not go there. I would just like to say, though, that Austin and SF are the remainder of the original Gleasonator Forums who still actively post. Mantis who moderately posts, and Dave and a few others who have almost dead accounts here. Go Austin and SF!

Yeah, what's Gleasonator Forums taught me? The biggest part would be the fact that I learned how to do graphics. I was worse than.... a stupid guy.... at them. Now, paint is pretty much my mastery.
Gleasonator: I've begun to actually THINK about things... he'll randomly ask me philosophical questions, Xenu knows why, and I'll think about it for a while. Maybe the entire day. I'm still pondering the "Five Minute Theory."
Toasty4You: Dude, he rocks! He used to be REALLY UBER ANNOYING, and I actually think I used to make fun of him. Then I didn't hear about him for about a year, then he joined the forums, then I talked to him on the forums, then on the bus! Now we're good friends! Woot!
Odd Odd: Your obsession with Switchfoot got me back into alternative music! Go you!
Mantis: You're pretty cool, and really helpful at all my questions. I know at times I'm a n00b, but you try to help me through it. Thank you!
MarioOfTheStars: The beginning was a bit rough. You were convinced that I was Alex, and you wouldn't LAY OFF! But I forgive you, and you rock! I was genuinly happy when you became an admin.
Thoraxtheimpaler V2: Hm... never learned anything from you. Pity. You're a reliable source of news.
Balmung of the Azure Sky: You influenced me to go back to MMORPG's again! And you helped me understand why anime is so cool!
Skullfarmer: You taught me that you don't have to make sense to be cool. Plus, you make me think.
iloveanime: Woot! You deserve a cookie! You make me special!
Kocrspinal: DUDE! You rawk! You seem to be a lot like me, and for that, you are awesome!
Don't worry, I'll add more people...
