Ooh, a hate thread? o.o
WELL...
I dislike Steven K. I cannot begin to understand why he got all that crap for his birthday. Oh well, that's life. He thinks that he is better than everyone, when really he's just the same as all of us... but maybe a lot more outspoken. He's cruel, and makes fun of people who need help (mental, physical, or any kind). He thinks that cussing everyone out makes him better than them. I swear, people need to stand up to him more.
I also dislike preps/popular people. They are funny at times, but they can be really rude. Looks aren't everything. And they always hang out in insanely huge packs in the hallway so I can never get anywhere. .__.
Whew... there's a bit of venting. Enjoy. =D

So God really hates himself for promising that now? ... no... Read on. Genesis 8:22... " 'As long as the earth remains, there will be springtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, day and night.' "There's a whole lot still to be said, but Jesus will return. And that will mark the end of the earth. (Hey! And that's what the series Left Behind is about. Wow. Jerry Jenkins sure knows what to write books about. =D)

"God of Wrath." It was horrible in the sense that people had become terribly wicked, cruel beings. They were way worse than what the evil that consists at the present. Genesis 6:5 (NLT) says... "Now the Lord observed the extent of the people's wickedness and he saw that all their thoughts were consistently and totally evil."But Noah was still faithful to the Lord, and God was merciful to him. So he instructed Noah to build the ark, and Noah obeyed.

You don't understand it: God loves all of us, whether or not we believe in Him. I mean, he's sad when people don't believe in him, but he still loves those people. He wouldn't just come down and murder us because we don't believe in Him, if there's still hope for us.
God can easily kill, for example there's the Great Flood. You know, Noah's Ark? God starting anew with the world, because the world had become so horrible.
xD I'm not sure that's a good example, though. He does work through us, but not for murder. We don't wake up one day and say, "I'm going to kill every seventh grader at my school, because God told me to." That's crazy, because we aren't supposed to murder. But for self-defense, I can see how that statement works. Protecting us.

Uhm, well, there's a new book out by Jerry Jenkins (author of the Left Behind series). It's set in the near future, and Christianity is declared illegal. Christians have to hide out while tons of people are hunting for them, murdering all Christians that they find. Christians are despised, but they are trying to find a way to make it out without being killed. They also don't want to fight, but when they do, it's for defense - last resort. Well defense would be a given, but cant God just use his so called Powers like at Egypt or floods or creating people? Elaborate, I don't see what you mean... how could any of that help in killing?

Yea but wouldnt God want People to get along rather then kill each other, just because some people refused to beleive in him...coughtoday's societycough >.> Obviously, God doesn't want this to happen if He is a God of love, wrath, and mercy. He doesn't want us to kill each other, but we were given the power to choose, whether it goes by what he says or not. He doesn't want us to kill, which is why it's in the Ten Commandments. But there is the matter of defense, at times.

This is absolutely pathetic, Troggy and Toasty. C'mon. .__.
Troggy, you don't know whether or not Toasty reads the Bible on a daily basis. You shouldn't criticize that either way. And Toasty, ignore the stupid things Troggy is trying to criticize.
And Carl... just... don't... egg him on.

Nice to the both of ya.
I am a strange person. I am afraid of my LA teacher, but I can say anything I wish to my math teacher. I have plenty of mortal enemies, and a few friends. Some things I say in real life are very... weird and stupid. And I'm afraid of one-on-one conversations (most of the time). =D

Okay, okay. I am a... water lover, I guess. I absolutely love the water. In the summer, my family takes a two week trip to a lake in South Carolina. My uncle owns an X Star, so I can wakeboard, slolem, and power tube against my brothers and my cousins off the back of it. It's crazy-fun.

I am a teenager. I'm responsible, yet I still make a lot of mistakes. I'm learning. I actually do enjoy books, but I don't watch many movies. I'm kiddish in a lot of ways, but I try to act like an adult, too (except at school xD), which is why I am a teenager.

The main reason even want Hilary Clinton in office is because she's a woman and they want children to have "hope", so they can believe that they too can become president. But yes, she is also a waste of air. We would all die if she became president. I totally agree with that... xD Hilary shouldn't even run, she's wasting her time. I really wouldn't like to see her in office... Liberals are all either stupid or haven't "seen the light". There are a few things I'd consider agreeing with, like protecting the environment (no so far that we can't walk on grass... but nobody wants to live in wasteland). I also think that most kids who say they're democrats just hate Bush and don't know what they're talking about. A lot of kid democrats just follow what they're parents say. If you're going to bash something (Bush, for example), you should at least learn what he's about. Find out his thoughts and plans. Your parents shouldn't always form your opinion. That's why I hate it when kids say, "I hate Bush." and when you ask them why, they respond, "I don't know, I just don't like him. He's making soldiers go to Iraq, and we don't even need to go to war anymore." WELL, Saddam would still be around if we hadn't sent soldiers to Iraq. We still need to be there, there are still outbreaks and murders. It's obvious as to why our soldiers are over there. They're in the military for these wars. And I'll tell you what Global Warming is. It's a little thing that people have noticed, that the Earth is warming up, but there's no scientific evidence that states that it's our fault, nor that it shouldn't be warming up. The polititions come out and talk about it to make people think they actually care about the environment and that they're good people, but they're just in it for the money. Actually, science disproves Global Warming. Remember there was an ice age? Well, there weren't people there, so obviously it was meant to happen. Then what? The Earth warmed up again, otherwise there'd still be snow. As far as I can see everything's as it should be. I agree. Global Warming is real; the Earth should be warming up. It's the fact that many people think the polar ice caps are going to melt on us that really bugs me... That's the best they could come up with?Meh. I have a whole argument with religion that I could type up, but I'ma go get ready for soccer practice. =D I disremember who said it but the gist of the quote goes: Those who you would want to run the country will never run for office. Meaning that people who are 'showy' enough to want the limelight are probably not the best candidates for the job. This particular bunch is really sad though. Oh and make no mistake, Hillary is a very smart woman (in a snake in the grass kind of way). And I agree with that whole post, SkullFarmer.

That pretty much sums it up, but I really want to throttle the guy that wrote that! Yeah. It's really sad to seeing them (almost) completely blame women for divorces and everything. Feminism is fine; women will be women as much as men will be men. The fact is that it's mutual wrongs that make divorces happen. A man can step out of a relationship and do what he isn't supposed to, just as the women can. It's called freedom. And women being feministic is NOT the cause of it. I swear, sometimes people's thoughts are a li

That site is completely misguiding.
Here's a story: Okay, at church camp I had a few guys in my family group throw out verses about how women are to submit to men. They quoted the Bible and said that women are inferior to men and everything. My family group leader didn't know what to do, so he just started laughing. And Lizzy, my friend, held a grudge against the four guys for the duration of the camp. They eventually apologized, but it was weird the rest of the week. At that time, I didn't really know what to say, because I didn't think that anyone would actually quote that from the Bible and say that about women. So when I got home, I talked about it with my mom... xD [/story]
(I'ma talk religious now.) The Bible does say that women are to submit themselves, but it also says that men wouldn't be able to live without women on this planet. God saw that Adam was lonely, and so he took one of his ribs and made a woman out of it. This woman was to serve alongside Adam and be his partner.
The Bible also says that men are to respect women, and are to humble themselves to them. Many verses say this. We commonly see this in verses like, "Treat your neighbor as yourself." In that verse, "neighbor" means everyone - your friends, your family, a different race, a different gender... (Okay, I'm done. =D)
So, basically, this site is taking scripture from the Bible, but completely ruining the scriptures true meaning.
False, wrong... and rude to women...

Without Jesus, we can be "good people" but we can't really imagine what it's like to actually be perfect. I meant that "bad people" comment as relating us to someone, say, of Jesus's manner. People of this Earth (compared to Jesus) are far from living "good."

What would be the point of Jesus's death if it weren't so? Just a guess, but... To show us that he forgives us for our sins, and that he loves us no matter what? Well, yes, he did come to do that. But would God come down in flesh and blood to say, "I love you so much, that I'm going to die for your sins. Oh, but you don't have to follow me or my word. If you're a good person, I'll let you into my heaven too." According to what I believe, without Him, we'd all be bad people. Sin is in our lives; it's what we choose. How could you be "good"? And what would you relate your "goodness" to? I guess those questions are to the both of you.

And I believe that you can completely ignore the Bible, but if you're a good person our "supreme being" who or whatever he may be will return it back to you. That's karma and I'm a strong believer in it. Ah, karma. You have some good views on the freedoms God gives us, but it stops there. You see, I believe in the Bible strongly. And there are plenty of verses in the Bible that say the only way into Heaven is through Jesus. Which means believing that He died for us, and the whole deal. What would be the point of Jesus's death if it weren't so?

Uh, all throughout the Bible. Mostly in Genesis, though, because that's the creation book. God gives humans (both Adam and Eve) the freedom to choose their life. You know, He created everything perfectly, and we ruined His creations. Eve chose to take the fruit from the serpent, and share it with her partner, even after God told them not to eat from the tree. Yeah. Gleasonator is right on this one, to a certain extent. But... In the church, we do say that God seeks people out, but that's more on the "rescuing" manner. And that's a whole topic in itself... Oh. So we don't have freedom? You mean that if I'm "sinful" it's not my fault because I was programmed to do be that way? Then what's the point of Heaven and Hell? You were right, you were right. We were given the freedom to choose what we do in our life, thus making the points of Heaven and Hell apparent.
