Taboo

~- en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taboo -~ I just watched a show on tv that was all about 'taboo' (a taboo is something that is held in respect and has rules that should be followed). Some of these "taboo" included gays, swear words, not the "perfect" match couple, stay at home fathers/working mothers, and more. I thought it might be fun to start a thread posting other taboo, and discussing some. abcnews.go.com/2020/altindex (things discussed in show)

Just get one of those puff mushrooms and BOOM spore galore. (I used to think they were cool when I was little; but after learning those were spore flying everywhere.. it's not so cool)

She/they sound crabby. And my attempt would be to find out the language, but you have no idea? Possibilities? (that way you could find a way to say "I DON'T SPEAK YOUR LANGUAGE".. in her language.)
What do your parents say about it?

and second of all, is it that bad to help out with cleaning chores?... no wait.. isn't that their job..?

(I don't want to quote the whole message; but i am assuming you know what I am talking about) That was very well put! About the building and everything. That "everyone is smart in there own way" can be such a touchy/debatable subject at times. But generally, I believe in it. (sometimes people have such unusual talents, that they are next to useless and therefore people think they don't have any. They do.. it's just in how things work they aren't obvious.) After all, I have next to NO talent what-so-ever in sports, so I looked elsewhere. Oh, and and what REALLY REALLY annoys me is when people pull the old, "Well, you're in SMART math" (aka 9th grade Geometry vs algebra) I hate math! Why is it that just because I can work at a problem until I get is and manage to pass the class with a good grade make me SMARTER than some people? Sometimes, they just give up too quickly. Once again, I don't know how much sense this makes, and it is poorly written if I do say so myself. But I don't feel like working on it much more. [desu]

My intent was to steer this thread... ..but now I'm thinking I may try to steer it into a conversation of what .... so you do go off steering our small minds in the direction that you want them to go in.. ((to salty: "there is a 'Shadow King' here.." -haruhi/ouran host club )) I'm chock full of fault and while I am flattered that people seem to think highly of me, I certainly don't deserve any special attention or accolades. When Salty was over at my house last weekend (May 19-20) we had a conversation about this! Kinda dealing with "Taboo". You post very little, but when you do post, it is a well thought out response twisting out normal thought track and therefore making you seem very mysterious, clever, and wise. After thinking this, and having you be of an older age then all of us, we put you in a position higher than us. Everyone then respects your opinions greatly, and puts much thought into them. But, are you really all the different or special? Just another guy with an interesting mind, perhaps? (Or just someone who doesn't have much time for GLEASONATOR and when he does post doesn't just want the same old LOL! O rly? That's what I thought! One sentence posts. Salty and I linked this to other people in our school that we hold a certain edge to. People that we supposedly "know" but remain mysterious to us, and cease to amaze us, we assume are probably better than us. Kinda like our heroes. There are kids in my grade and same age that I put into this kind of position self conciously! I have no idea if this is making much sense at all, 'cause it is 11:00 at night, and I am letting my fingers to all the talking (>.<) Let's see if you guys can make sense of it.

You guys crack me up. it was an OLD reference from the old Batman/Dark Knight comics of my youth (LONG ago). Joker said it a few times when he meant "and you, my friend". I just never forgot it. Omigosh, I remember watching this really old batman movie and I just LOVED the joker! He was so awesome! Batman fired all these shots at him and missed, then the joker whips out this huge gun, pulls the trigger and "BANG!"..comes out of it on a white flag That's what I guessed the saying ment when salty came up with "ami" meaning "friend", I can't believe how close I got on the mark.. anyway~ jolly good show! We managed to go off on another rant on something so simple -- that was fun to watch.

*Toasty's intelligence increased +1* Haha! You guys are so fun to talk to.. ----------------------- SkullFarmer has brought up enlightening points to which I had not yet brought into consideration. Yes, if we break down humans to their basic (caveman-like form) we have an "animal" (so to speak), but otherwise, humans do have a much more organized thought process (that is... if we choose to use our miraculous gift of knowledge..). But I stick with what I said, humans relate more to animals than we realize. Combining both theories, I think that because of mankind's advances we have bent our natural behavior, but we still have it. (Like bending pipes, you start out with basic one, but you can turn it into something maze-like and complex, but underneath it all--it is still a pipe.) [nifty simile, -eh?] So what was once "living in packs" becomes the urge to hang out with friends, and to not always want to be all by yourself. This gets exciting 'cause it relates so much to Lord of the Flies!! (if you have read this book, I really don't need to point everything it relates to out) Right now I can't think of much more to add, so I think I'll just see what you have to say about this. (why only 10 questions for one answer? I bet I coulda' came up with more.. ) (Konichiwa, it has been a long time since we talked! And let me say, it is an honor to be having a debate of theories with you~. -- Salty tells me all about them~)

Somehow I knew what that link was without even clicking it. That literally made me LOL! ----------------- an·i·mal Spelled Pronunciation[an-uh-muhl] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation –noun 1. any member of the kingdom Animalia, comprising multicellular organisms that have a well-defined shape and usually limited growth, can move voluntarily, actively acquire food and digest it internally, and have sensory and nervous systems that allow them to respond rapidly to stimuli: some classification schemes also include protozoa and certain other single-celled eukaryotes that have motility and animallike nutritional modes. 2. any such living thing other than a human being. 3. a mammal, as opposed to a fish, bird, etc. 4. the physical, sensual, or carnal nature of human beings; animality: the animal in every person. 5. an inhuman person; brutish or beastlike person: She married an animal. 6. thing: A perfect job? Is there any such animal? –adjective 7. of, pertaining to, or derived from animals: animal instincts; animal fats. 8. pertaining to the physical, sensual, or carnal nature of humans, rather than their spiritual or intellectual nature: animal needs. dictionary.reference.com/browse/animal ^^ we qualify for number 3, but not for number 2. So depending on which definition you use, you could turn the argument either way. In my own personal opinion, humans are a lot more animal like than we realize. For instance, we like grouping together in numbers.. or shall I say.. "packs" [wolfs], "prides"[lions], "mustards"[peacocks], and.. I forget what a group of chimpanzees are called. But what is also a curious thing, is that how even now 'animals' such as chimpanzees are starting to re-adapt and become gentler and less violent, which is what humans have become over the ages. Strange, eh? And yet another observation.. SkullFarmer has successfully distracted us from any other guesses to his true identity and steered us straight into human logic. Whether this was intentional of him or not, I don't know. But just something I wanted to point out. (possibility he didn't want us guess? or to act like idiots like we normally do? Or to just use another one of his insanely genius posts that make our brains throb after reading them. Lastly.. am I just over complicating things? ..I'm making WAYYY more questions then answers here. But isn't that what the world is all about.. [desu ne]

This is an awfully strange question. Asking who is would be a very unspecific question. Are you looking for is name (he is.. frank), is occupation? (who is skull farmer? a fedEx man.. [to salty: WILSOOOON!]) Or rather the type of person he is, (the farmer of skulls is CRUEL, MALEVOLENT, and brilliant.), or the relation to Glea? (skulley is glea's cousin twice removed!).
With these questions in mind, I only begin to ponder, who really is Skull Farmer...

You never posted your opinion on what you think would happen. I asked the first question. You supply the first answer. awh, don't pull that skull farmer! I think you both should give an answer. After all, if you are asking a question, you are either seeing if someone has the same answer as you; or you are seeing what they think the answer is and learning from them. In this case, I think you just want to see what he says and then pown him for not finding an answer without any loop holes!

There was a poem once when I was at a speech meet that was kinda a light-hearted version of god creating things.. but to the point.. In the poem there was the angle, and the angel told god that one brother had just killed the other. God was shocked and thought he should start all over again right away. But then the angel pointed out to God that if he was going to start over, then he was going to wipe out (kill) everything that he had already created. I don't know if that makes much sense, but I got to thinking of that when I read some of this. I think it is because it shows that we have to fix our own mistakes and not expect god to fix them all for us (because he can't)..? --Shirimasen-- -----~-~-~-~-~-~-~----- as for abortions.. I am for. We say that they deserve to live because they are people too. But that is just it. We are bringing new life to this world and we are going to have to explain to it that the reason it doesn't have a father was because it wasn't supposed to happen, or that the mother was attacked, or just cover it all up with a lie and have it be brought to an adoption place where the parents that arn't it's will have to take over where the bio parent could not. Why bring that onto yet ANOTHER human being in this world? I think the parents should choose what they feel is right. If they can't bring it up in a way they would want to bring up their kid (if they weren't ready, or they can't support it) then why force that upon them? Why..? They were fairly evil before the rape. I'm astonished.. are you saying.. they kinda deserve it?.. (did I interpret that wrong?) ...

I thought you meant a real mouse at first...... [surprise surprise the phenomena happens again..] so did I! only for two seconds... but before then, I thought, "Oh no! Poor mouse!" oh! Speaking of pets Salty, my mom knows where we can get EMUs for $20!!!! wow!... uh, anyways... yes, most unwise. My beverages are always to my left and my mouse to my right. Therefore, it poses no real threat. (but I haven't spilled anything.. and it is usually bone-plenishing milk)
